Spring is in the air and Easter is the perfect excuse to gather loved ones around a beautiful table of treats. Whether you're hosting a brunch, lunch, or afternoon tea, creating a thoughtful tablescape adds charm, personality, and a sense of occasion.

Here are my top tips for styling the ultimate Easter table:

1. Start with a Soft Base

Choose a fabric tablecloth or runner in soft pastels like blush, sage, or sky blue. These fresh tones will add a touch of spring and set the tone for your table. Don’t be afraid to mix textures (cotton, linen, or gauze fabrics work well), or patterns if you like maximalism (think gingham paired with stripes).

2. Layer Your Tableware

Stacking your plates adds height and interest. Try pairing simple dinner plates with patterned or coloured charger plates. Finish with a pretty napkin, tie it with ribbon or twine and pop in a fresh piece of rosemary or a mini chocolate egg for a special Easter touch.

3. Add Natural Elements

Think blooming florals, eucalyptus or soft greenery. Fresh tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths in a low vase or bud vases make great centre pieces. You can also use small potted plants or even a few decorated eggs for texture to scatter across the table.

4. Keep Decor Playful and Personal

Easter is a family-friendly holiday, so add whimsical touches like painted eggs, bunny figurines, or handwritten name cards shaped like eggs or flowers. A few gold accents like cutlery or candleholders can bring an element of sophistication.

5. Set the Mood with Lighting

Candles are key. Use tea lights or taper candles in pastel holders for a soft, ambient glow. If your Easter meal is during the day, try placing your table near a window to take full advantage of natural light.

6. Keep It Practical

Make sure your centrepiece and decor don’t get in the way of conversation or serving food. A beautifully styled table should feel effortless, not overcomplicated.

7.The Sweet Spot

Place a mini treat at each setting, a small chocolate bunny, a cookie, or a tiny Easter favour—something each person can enjoy or take home. It’s a small gesture that adds joy and a sense of occasion.

Whether you go all out or keep things simple, a well-styled Easter table is about celebrating togetherness and welcoming spring with warmth and creativity. It’s not about perfection, it’s about setting the scene for meaningful moments.

Happy Easter and happy styling! 🐣🌷
